For art we got into groups of 6. We got a picture of a Leader. and we folded the paper into 6 sections and cut them into 6 cubes of the picture. Each cube had a part of the persons face. We did the same to another piece of plain paper. With the six pieces of paper we re drew the picture of the leader that we got onto it. We measured on how big the pieces were and drew it on about the same size with a grey art pencil. After we matched up all the pieces we put them together basically like a puzzle. After that we used the colouring pencils to color in the colours that were in the original picture. And lastly we cut the face out and tapped it all together. With that we made a picture of Will ´ilolihia combinding our imagination and using alot of teamwork and helping one another. We learnt about what he has done and how he fought for equality and justice to the Maori´s samoans tongans and all pacific islanders and protested against the dawn raids with a group named the Polynisian Panthers.
