For inquiry we made dinosaur eggs and waited 2 weeks to hatch them, we got into groups and cracked open the eggs outside and researched about what dinosaur we got, we also used Adobe AI to make it look like it was taken when it hatched it was in the old days when dinosaurs were alive, and then we put it onto a dinosaur dlo where everyone put their dinosaur image that they made from Adobe ai
museum backpack challenge
last week we had a trip to the museum it was really fun, our teacher put us into some activity groups and gave us a paper to take notes on, my group got together with some other groups and formed one big group called LS2 A or B and we went to this volcano education place and the instructors gave us a challenge to evacuate like there is a volcano eruptions in our area we had 30 seconds to put all the things we need, but for the ones we don’t require, each of us leave them behind and the instructor will check if the two different groups took the correct items in the bag, once we finished placing our stuff in.

Fossil DLO
Our task for inquiry was to create a DLO about trace fossils and body fossils, we got to buddy up into pairs and create this, i buddied up with my friend, and this is what we created, i did the trace fossils and my friend did the body fossils, i am so glad we get to do fun things and enjoy the feeling of creating dough to make dinosaur eggs! i learnt the differance of trace and body fossils, and what they are, i really enjoyed learning new things, and i also enjoyed working together as a team and creating this DLO.

For Inquiry, Our topic was on dinosaurs, We learned about Paleontoligests and what they do, Our task was to find out what a Paleontoligest does and what their trying to find, We got into groups of four to five and created a DLO that explained what a paleontoligest does in 50 Words, this is what my group created, i hope u can learn a thing or two by reading this DLO.

Whakaari/White island Research
This week for inquiry me and LS2 class had a choice to do research on Tarawera or Whakaari, Me and my other friends worked in a group of six and this is our finished DLO with facts and our research, even a picture of the Whakaari volcano itself, this task was a cool task and im glad that my friends helped me learn about whakaari volcano.
Grp 5A Maths DLO
Me and my maths group created this DLO on subtractions, the aim is about teaching the little kids understand Subtraction, We used an example with a equation, and we also went over each step on how this method works, our learning intention was to help people to understand how this method in subtraction works, this is one of the easiest methods to help you answer it, i hope that this poster will help you understand subtractions.

me and my buddy Sweete created this story, on why Maungarei Sleeps we learned about pourquoi stories, and our task was to create an image on Adobe express of a angry volcano, and write a story on why the Volcano is asleep, The stories we made could be fake or real, Me and my friend decided to make a fake story so it is more fun to read, i liked working on this subject and i thank my teachers Miss Anderson and Miss Fisi’ahi for teaching us how to make a pourquoi story.
Volcano eruptions animations
For inquiry we learned about volcanoes and what are the different types. What causes a volcanic eruption? The volcano erupts when 2 tectonic plates crash and touch each other that can make the magma rise to the Earth’s surface which can rise and flow out onto the flat surface of land (that can cause damage to buildings and people, etc…). While it’s erupting, the gas goes everywhere including it going higher than the clouds are usually at. Once the pressure is high enough, the magma erupts which could push through the volcano’s vent. What are the 4 types/differences of volcanoes? The 4 types of volcanoes are shield, cinder cone, composite (another word is stratovolcanoes and lava domes. I enjoyed doing this activity because I get to learn information about volcanoes by watching the videos and using our smart searching skills.
