This week we learned about ANZAC day the ANZAC soldiers has died to protect our country.
Our whole class room did an art project and decorate and add some poppies, we based our quatrefoils on Max Gimblett’s art.
I enjoyed making the art. I need to improve on working harder
This week we learned what a keyword is. It is a word that unlocks new information. They are important words.
We had to pick out the 20 keywords in Goldilocks and then we had to the 6 most important words to make a sentence with. I did this in a group with Mele, Lila and Sila.
I enjoyed finding keywords. I did well at working in a group. I need to improve on remembering what a keyword is.
A simple sentence is a sentence that has a subject and a verb. It tells us what someone or something is doing.
For this we had to make an example of a sentence. Then we had to find the subject and the verb. A subject is something or someone. A verb is a doing word.
Here is my example.
I enjoyed making my own sentence. I did well at using a verb. I need to improve on completing work faster.
