On the first week of the year, me and my class room made a DLO about Expectations, we got into a group of five and we worked together to make this DLO explaining what expectations looks like, we wrote the expectations down on a piece of paper, and then we collaborated with the group besides us and read out our expectations to the other teams, we had a good time creating this DLO and sharing out ideas with each other i had fun introducing new people in our school and making them feel welcomed and safe.

Kia ora my name is Baileigh and i am a year 7 from Panmure Bridge School, my favourite subjects is writing, i like to help out others and i also like PE to, i like tackle rugby and sometimes i play soccer and basketball, my goal for 2025 is to focus more in maths and to become more confident in 2026 and to get better at sports.

Kia ora my name is baileigh and this is my Maori proverb. a Moari Proverb is like a whakatauki. and this is my poster of a Maori proverb. Our task was to pick a Proverb and then we had to create a poster of canva and put in the Maori proverb that we chose. i chose “Ka mate te kāinga tahi, ka ora te kāinga rua.” Meaning, “when one house dies another one lives”.

This week. At the start of term2 me and my class done a Recount on sport on how we showed teamwork this is mine and i also put a photo of my game. Enjoy!

For cybersmart my class had to make matariki pixel art stars, this is my star i completed!

This week for a school trip My class and LS2 went to the howick historical  village, there was alot of old houses and it was based on a village that was made in the 1850’s it looked very old and the workers there was dressed like it was the 1850’s it was very cool, first we went inside a house were we made butter out of cream and then after that we went on a guided walk to explore the village and then we went and made a big to car that almost looked like a skateboard we sat on it after we built it and then another person would push us down the hill it was very fun there and then we took a group photo and headed off back to school.

This week for reading we did a SSR selfie i choose babysitters club, the task was to write the auther of the book and then recount the events that happned in the book then we put new words from the book and discribe them.
